You don't have to do this alone.
The YWCA of the Mohawk Valley operates two (2) confidential, emergency residential facilities in Oneida County, which offer women and their children the opportunity to be in a safe place while working through many of the problems caused by family violence. These facilities are Hall House, opened in 1981 and Lucy's House, opened twenty years later in 2001. In 2005 the YWCA brought New Horizons of the Mohawk Valley under its organizational structure and in 2006 we opened our first transitional housing facility for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, Willow Commons.
